1950s • ACME • Berry Stitch-Crazy Western • Women’s 7.5 A (narrow)
Why we love them
Deep-berry leather, golden vine stitching for days, and that crisp yellow piping—pure mid-century ACME attitude.
Spec Card

• Era: 1950s (construction & styling cues)
• Upper: berry/burgundy calf with contrast stitch embroidery
• Lining: full leather
• Construction: stitched welt, leather outsole with wood pegs, stacked leather heel w/ rubber top-lift
• Silhouette: classic mid-height cowboy shaft w/ deep V scallop, pointed J-toe

Condition (7/10 – Vintage Good)
Honest vintage wear: toe scuffs, edge rub at counters, and general patina from decades of two-step. Soles show forefoot darkening; heels have later rubber lifts with life left. No open seams; pulls intact; shafts stand straight.
Provenance / stamp
Woven ACME BOOT label at the pulls; period leather sole with visible pegging; stacked heel construction consistent with mid-century ACME.
NB Notes
A light balm and horsehair brush will wake the berry color right up; style with broken-in denim or a prairie skirt for that “found in a trunk” magic.
