1960s • ACME CUSTOM • Thunderbird Eagle Inlay • Women’s 6.5 B
Why we love them
A striking pair of 1960s Acme Customs that carry the bold spirit of mid-century Western style. The golden eagle/Thunderbird inlay radiates power against rich chocolate-brown leather, making these boots as much a piece of Americana art as they are footwear. Sturdy, soulful, and beautifully broken in, they tell stories of dance halls, dirt roads, and everything in between.

Heritage Notes
Acme was one of America’s most prolific bootmakers of the 20th century, especially known for making Western boots accessible without sacrificing bold design. Their “Custom” line represented higher-end, carefully detailed boots—pieces built to last. The Thunderbird/eagle motif was a favorite among mid-century bootmakers, symbolizing strength, freedom, and flight.
Condition
Well-loved vintage with scuffs and wear at the toes and vamps—just the kind of honest patina that reminds us these boots lived a life. Soles and heels remain in solid shape with plenty of miles left to go.
